Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Graham Platner wants to overturn the landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling that enabled corporations and other outside groups to spend unlimited money on elections by any means possible.

Maine Attorney General Aaron Frey, who was part of the coalition of state Attorneys General that brought the suit, said in a statement Thursday that the ruling will “will prevent needless disruption and uncertainty in an election process that has unfailingly proven to be safe and secure.”
